Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the Marour mobile application or visiting marour.hptechies.com (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must immediately stop using the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and HP Techies, the operator of Marour.

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification.

Subject to these terms, HP Techies grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Marour app for your personal, non-commercial travel planning purposes.

You agree to:

• Use the app only for lawful purposes related to bus travel planning

• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app

• Not use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract data from the Service

• Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others

• Use only the official app distributed via Google Play Store

The Service is provided for informational and convenience purposes only.

You must not use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation

• Transmit any malware, spyware, or malicious code

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our servers or databases

• Scrape, harvest, or systematically copy bus schedule data for commercial redistribution

• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

• Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone else's use or enjoyment of the Service

Violation of these prohibited uses may result in immediate suspension of your account and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement authorities.

Bus schedules, timetables, and live location data are provided for informational purposes only.

Marour aggregates data from HRTC, private bus operators, and GPS devices. We do not operate buses ourselves and have no control over:

• Actual bus departure or arrival times

• Route changes, cancellations, or detours

• GPS device accuracy or connectivity

• Real-time data latency

Bus schedules change without notice due to weather, road conditions, strikes, festivals, government orders, or operational decisions by bus operators. Always confirm timings directly with the bus operator or station staff before travelling, especially for long-distance or mountain routes.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. HP TECHIES MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR TIMELINESS OF BUS DATA.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HP Techies and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill

• Missed buses, travel delays, or costs arising from reliance on the Service

• Any damages exceeding ₹100 (one hundred Indian Rupees) in aggregate

These limitations apply regardless of the theory of liability — whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise — even if HP Techies has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion or limitation of certain types of damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

HP Techies reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Post the updated terms at marour.hptechies.com/terms with a revised "last updated" date

• Send an in-app notification to active users

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the updated terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Himachal Pradesh, India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chamba, Himachal Pradesh.
